What happened during summer? -3- Breaks in Grenoble, Laitila, Essen, Montelimar

Even when I think I stay at home, I don’t really… 🙂

I was invited to a baptism of a friend’s baby near Grenoble, that ended up being a wedding as well! They trapped us with the baptism and got married! It was pretty big surprise 🙂

I also went to South of France, near Montelimar to spend a relaxing week end with friends.

Then Anna and Markus got married end of July, in Finland. This was a really interesting wedding in Finnish and in Spanish! The mixing of the 2 cultures was pretty funny. I am not sure I understood much of the ceremony though…! But it was a great time trying to speak Spanish again, and meeting so many new people.

We went to Lappi sauna again (maybe for my last time!) and it was nice to swim in the lake (at least no ice)

Not far from Essen, where Alex is from, there is Düsseldorf, where a friend from Finland lived for 6 months. We managed to catch up and the 3 of us went Tree climbing. It was nice, pretty hard sometimes… and we ended our day , exhausted, in a Chinese restaurant.

  1. Oh that was such a great day… I think I still have bruises! 😀 I’m also planning to write a post about the climbing park, trusting I can use your pics, have them all saved! 😛 Have just been a bit too busy lately. But it’s good to be home. Let me know if you suddenly decide to visit Finland again!
